That food is no longer used for food purposes, its used to power things and for energy usage and fuel.
What is the interest of the author?
How food is being used to power things other than peoples bodies. A third of corn doesnt go to livestock or people, it goes straight to fuel....corn....for fuel....is this really what we are reduced to.
